Working Weekends

Results-based marketing agency

Google & Meta advertising · UK / US / UAE

Connect what you pay us to the opportunities your business can actually use.

Working Weekends offers results-based advertising engagements built around agreed outcomes: qualified leads, attended appointments or verified sales. We combine campaign management, landing pages and measurement, with a base fee and performance component scoped to your business.

Advertising spend is paid directly by you to Google or Meta. Setup, base fees and performance fees are set out separately in your proposal.

The service, explained

What is a results-based marketing agency?

A results-based marketing agency links some or all of its fees to measurable outcomes agreed with the client. Also called performance-based or pay-for-performance marketing, the arrangement can charge per qualified lead, attended appointment or sale. The agreement defines what qualifies, how it is measured and which costs remain payable regardless of results.

Our starting point is a hybrid engagement: a scoped base fee for the work required, plus a performance fee tied to accepted outcomes. Performance marketing describes how campaigns are measured; performance-based pricing describes how the agency gets paid.

Choose the right commercial model

A fee model that fits your customer journey.

We review your offer, margins, conversion history and sales process before recommending a fee. The result definition, base scope and reporting source are agreed before launch.

Models are subject to a fit review. Media spend and any setup or base fee are separate from the performance fee.
Model What triggers the performance fee Where it can fit
Qualified lead A unique enquiry meeting written location, service, contact and intent criteria. Service businesses with a team ready to handle enquiries.
Attended appointment A qualified prospect attends the agreed call, consultation or meeting. Businesses selling through consultations, demos or quotations.
Verified sale An eligible paid order or customer sale, reconciled against agreed records and return rules. Established ecommerce businesses with reliable sales and margin data.
Base fee + performance A base fee covers defined delivery; the variable fee follows an agreed lead, appointment or sales measure. A focused pilot where both sides want clear scope and shared incentives.

Rates, minimum budgets, payment timing, attribution windows and any fee caps are confirmed in the proposal. An enquiry does not commit you to an engagement.

Agree the definition before the campaign

What counts as a qualified result?

For leads and appointments

  • The prospect needs your agreed service in a location you cover.
  • The contact details are valid and the enquiry is genuine.
  • Budget, buying authority and timing criteria apply where relevant.
  • Appointments are counted against an agreed attendance record.

For sales and reporting

  • Agree how new customers, repeat orders and existing leads are treated.
  • Set rules for duplicates, spam, job enquiries and invalid contacts.
  • Reconcile cancellations, refunds and returns before settling sales fees.
  • Use one agreed reporting source, attribution window and dispute process.

Ad-platform attribution is an estimate of credited outcomes, not proof that every sale was caused by an advert. Where fees depend on incremental growth, we agree the baseline and assessment method separately.

Service businesses

From enquiry to appointment.

Scope can include Google or Meta campaigns, a focused landing page, call and form tracking, CRM routing, qualification and booking follow-up. If an AI calling workflow is suitable, we can assess LazyCall as part of a separate, agreed integration.

  1. Review the business and agree the pilot.

Assess the offer, current performance, customer economics and capacity. Set the scope, media budget, fee model and conditions for continuing or stopping.

  2. Check tracking and prepare the journey.

Confirm conversion events, landing pages, creative, CRM ownership and reporting. Test for missing or duplicate events before relying on campaign figures.

  3. Launch, learn and reconcile.

Run the agreed tests, review lead or order quality, and match outcomes to the shared record. Decide the next action using commercial results and the limits of the data.

Work backwards from the margin

A cheap lead is only useful if the numbers work.

We assess advertising spend and agency fees together. For a service business, the value of an appointment depends on the profit from a customer and the percentage of appointments that turn into sales.

Illustrative calculation · not a client result or a price quote

Contribution per new customer
£1,000
Appointment-to-sale rate
20%
Expected contribution per appointment
£200
Advertising + all agency fees
£120

In this example, £200 minus £120 leaves £80 per appointment before fixed overheads. The £120 must include an allocation of setup and base fees as well as ad spend and performance fees. Actual close rates, customer contribution and costs may differ.

Who we can help

Best suited to an established offer and a team ready to respond.

Results-based pricing is easiest to assess when you already know who buys, what customers are worth and how enquiries become sales. New offers may need an initial fixed-scope test to establish those figures.

A practical fit usually includes

  • A proven product or service with sufficient margin to acquire customers.
  • A decision-maker who can approve creative and campaign changes.
  • Access to the advertising, CRM, booking or store data needed to measure outcomes.
  • Capacity to answer enquiries, fulfil orders and handle the expected demand.

Bring these to the first conversation

  • Your website and the country or service area you want to reach.
  • Current monthly ad spend, if any, and the outcome you want to improve.
  • Average order or project value, contribution margin and available conversion history.
  • Your sales process, follow-up arrangements and launch priorities.

Serving businesses in the UK, US and UAE. We agree targeting, currency, language, time zones and account requirements for your market during the fit review. A UK service business and a UAE ecommerce store need different acquisition plans.

Useful questions, direct answers

Results-based advertising FAQs.

Do I only pay when you get results?

The performance fee is tied to qualifying outcomes. Setup or base fees may also apply and are payable as agreed, even if the campaign produces no qualifying results. Advertising spend is separate. We explain every charge before you sign.

Who pays Google or Meta for the advertising?

You fund the agreed media budget directly through your own advertising accounts. Working Weekends charges separately for the scoped agency work and performance fees. Spending limits and approvals are agreed before launch.

Can you guarantee a number of leads, sales or a particular ROAS?

We do not offer a universal lead, sales or ROAS guarantee. We agree a measurable outcome, a testing budget and a review process. Customer demand, competition, pricing, margins, tracking and your sales or fulfilment process all affect results.

How much does a performance-based marketing agency cost?

The cost depends on the value of a qualifying result, the work needed to generate it and the measurement available. We scope setup, any base fee, the performance rate and media budget separately. Exact pricing follows a review of your business and existing data.

Can I pay per attended appointment instead of per lead?

We can assess an appointment-based engagement when qualification, booking and attendance can be verified. The agreement defines prospect eligibility, attendance, no-shows, rescheduling, duplicates and any follow-up work included.

Do you offer revenue-share marketing for Shopify stores?

We can assess a sales-linked or hybrid fee for an established Shopify business with reliable order and margin records. Any revenue-share proposal defines attribution, new and returning customers, taxes, discounts, refunds and returns. A share of reported revenue is different from a share of incremental profit.

What happens to duplicate, spam or unqualified leads?

We agree exclusions and a review process before launch. Records are checked against the written criteria and shared CRM or booking data. The agreement sets the review window and how accepted exclusions affect billing.

How soon can a campaign launch and produce results?

Launch timing depends on account access, tracking checks, landing pages, creative and approvals. We confirm the schedule after reviewing those dependencies. A campaign can begin generating enquiries before it has enough data to judge consistent acquisition costs or profitability.

Do you support businesses in the UK, US and UAE?

Yes. We can scope results-based marketing for businesses serving the United Kingdom, United States and United Arab Emirates. We assess market targeting, account setup, language, time zones, budget and delivery requirements during discovery.

What is the difference between performance marketing and performance-based pricing?

Performance marketing manages campaigns against measurable business outcomes, such as leads, sales and acquisition cost. Performance-based pricing ties the agency's compensation to agreed results. A campaign can be performance-focused while the agency still charges a fixed retainer.
